Horizontal sewage pumps are mainly used to transport urban sewage, feces, or liquids containing impurities such as fibers, paper scraps,…
Managing municipal sewage, industrial effluents, and storm runoff requires robust pumping systems that can handle suspended solids, fibrous debris, and abrasive particles. Kairun Pump’s submersible sewage pumps are specifically engineered to address these challenges. By utilizing non-clogging impeller profiles and heavy-duty motor components, our pumps ensure stable operation under demanding municipal and industrial conditions. Our systems focus on minimizing maintenance needs and lowering the total cost of ownership through durable materials and integrated safety protections.
Our submersible sewage pumps are widely deployed in both public utility and industrial sectors:
Municipal Sewage Treatment: Transferring raw municipal sewage, settled sludge, and industrial wastewater within treatment plants.
Commercial & Residential Drainage: Pumping domestic wastewater, greywater, and stormwater from basements, shopping centers, and residential districts.
Construction Site Dewatering: Handling muddy water, excavation runoffs, and surface water containing sand or silt.
Industrial Effluent Pumping: Managing processed water, corrosive chemical effluents, and paper pulp or textile fiber-laden wastewater.
Optimized Non-Clog Impellers: Available in channel, vortex, and cutter configurations to cleanly pass solids, rags, and fibrous materials without causing blockages.
Advanced Materials of Construction: Standard models are manufactured from high-quality cast iron, with custom options in SS304, SS316, or duplex stainless steel for highly corrosive sewage.
Dual Mechanical Seals & Protection Sensors: Double silicon carbide mechanical seals run in an oil chamber, paired with moisture sensors and thermal protection in the windings to detect and prevent motor damage.
A: Our pumps are designed with either channel impellers (great for high-efficiency water flow and passing standard spherical solids) or vortex (recessed) impellers (ideal for transferring long-fiber materials and highly concentrated sludges, as the fluid does not directly touch the impeller).
A: Yes. For special high-temperature or chemical industrial effluents, we customize the pumps with high-temperature motor insulation (Class H) and cast the pump bodies in specialized stainless steel alloys (SS316 or SS316L) with Viton elastomers.
A: Yes, we provide complete automatic coupling installation systems. These systems allow the pump to be lowered into the wet pit along guide rails, automatically sealing against the discharge pedestal without requiring personnel to enter the sump for maintenance.
