Feature

General BenefitsIts: Vertical structure is compact and takes up little space. The cantilevered shaft design lowers the need for shaft sealing. It works well with high density, large particle slurries, making it suitable for non stop use in mining, industrial processing and other heavy duty settings.
Large Particle Compatibility:Adopting a large-channel impeller and wide-flow passage structure, it can stably transfer high-concentration slurry containing particles up to 65mm in size, greatly reducing the risk of blockage during transportation and adapting to impurity-rich working conditions.
Forced Lubrication & Heat Dissipation:The motor chamber is equipped with an independent heat dissipation module, and the bearing area is fitted with a continuous lubrication system. Even during long-term high-load operation, it can maintain stable temperature and lubrication status, reducing component wear.
Submerged Working Adaptability:Its vertical submerged structure allows the pump body to be fully immersed in the slurry sump/pit, eliminating the need for additional priming devices and ensuring efficient suction of sediment-laden media without air intake issues.

Application of Vertical slurry pump

Mining and Mineral Processing Industry

Tailings Slurry Transportation: In mineral processing plants, this function transports high-concentration tailings slurry (a mixture of ore particles and water) from thickeners to tailings ponds, adapting to the high abrasive characteristics of the medium to ensure continuous disposal of mineral processing waste.

Slurry Transfer: Used in underground and open-pit mining processes, this function transports crushed slurry between grinding, flotation, and other mineral processing steps, meeting the demands of heavy-duty, high-concentration transport.

Heavy Industrial Waste Treatment

Steel Slag Slurry Treatment: In steel plants, this function treats blast furnace steel slag slurry generated during smelting, transferring the solid-liquid mixture to a slag treatment system for centralized processing.

Fly Ash Slurry Transportation: Used in thermal power plants, this function transports high-concentration fly ash slurry formed from boiler combustion residue to storage or resource utilization stages, withstanding the abrasion of fine ash particles.

Construction and Dredging Engineering

Foundation Pit Slurry Drainage: During the excavation of deep foundation pits for high-rise buildings, subways, etc., this involves pumping out accumulated mixed slurry (soil, sand, gravel, and groundwater) to ensure dryness and operational safety in the construction area.

Dredging Sediment Transportation: In conjunction with dredgers, this involves transporting excavated sand-laden slurry to designated disposal areas, adapting to the large particle size and high viscosity characteristics of the medium.

Metallurgical Smelting Production

Non-ferrous Smelting Slag Transportation: In copper, aluminum, and zinc smelters, this involves transporting high-temperature smelting slag to cooling and treatment systems, resistant to corrosive and highly abrasive working conditions.

Flue Gas Purification Slurry Circulation: Used in the flue gas desulfurization process of smelters, this involves circulating absorbent slurry to capture harmful gases, ensuring stable operation in corrosive environments.

Working Principle

The motor drives the impeller to rotate at high speed.
The rotating impeller creates centrifugal force, which accelerates the slurry and converts kinetic energy into pressure energy.
Low pressure formed at the impeller inlet draws slurry into the pump; the pressurized slurry is then discharged through the outlet.
As the pump is submerged in the slurry, it can suck medium directly without priming, ensuring stable and continuous operation.
